We’ve been busy behind the scenes at Little Rainbows getting everything fresh, bright and ready for our children to return!

Our nursery has had a lovely new lick of paint, giving our spaces a fresh new feel and creating an inviting environment ready for lots of exploring, learning and fun. As we welcome the children back, we’ll be placing a big focus on ‘All About Me’ — getting to know each child, celebrating what makes them unique and giving them lots of opportunities to share their interests, families, favourite things and what makes them, them.

With our refreshed environment ready to explore, the children will be encouraged to take the lead, investigate their surroundings and discover all the new and familiar experiences on offer. From exploring our learning spaces and choosing where their curiosity takes them, to developing friendships, building confidence and becoming familiar with their refreshed nursery. We know that settling back into nursery is about so much more than simply returning through the door. It’s about feeling safe, secure, confident and excited to learn — and our environment plays such an important part in helping children feel that sense of belonging. There will be plenty of opportunities for conversations, stories, creative experiences, role play, messy play and lots of child-led exploration as we discover who we are, what we enjoy and the wonderful environment around us. We can’t wait to see the children’s reactions when they walk through the doors and discover their refreshed nursery! The paint might be fresh, but the Little Rainbows magic is still exactly where it belongs — with the children. Here’s to a fresh start, new discoveries, lots of “look what I found!” moments and another term full of learning, laughter and memories.
