Settling into nursery is about so much more than just playing! At Playbox, every adventure, conversation, song, messy moment and giggle is helping children grow into confident, independent little people.

There will be lots of talking, exploring, playing, singing, laughing and learning along the way — and probably a little bit of chaos too!  From finding their coats, shoes, bags and water bottles (and hopefully remembering where they put them!)  to learning the routines and rules of nursery, children are developing important skills that help them become more independent every day.

We’ll be practising how to recognise and look after our own belongings, move confidently around nursery, listen to our friends, take turns, make choices and begin taking responsibility for ourselves. And yes… we may even discover that some socks have a magical habit of disappearing!

At Playbox, we believe that learning and fun go hand in hand. So let the adventures, discoveries, friendships, learning — and a little bit of chaos — begin!

"Sadie absolutely loves Playbox and looks forward to going every day. Her confidence has come on so much in the last 2 years and it is clear that so much care and dedication goes into making it a wonderful start to her journey!"

Katy

"The staff are absolutely incredible with the children. There is such a genuine warmth and care in the way you look after them that it feels less like leaving your child at a preschool, and more like leaving them with family. That level of trust and comfort means the world to us as parents".
